The families of the martyrs of Model Town massacre staged a sit-in at the Istanbul chowk at The Mall, Lahore on August 16 with a sole demand for publication of Justice Baqir Najfi Commission report. All political parties took active part in the sit-in. It is demand of the families of the martyrs that the Justice Baqir Najfi Commission report should be made public and a neutral bench should be constituted under the supervision of the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court. read more...

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Friday announced that families of Model Town massacre and party workers will gather on Lahore’s Mall road on August 16 (Wednesday) to demand publication of Baqir Najfi Commission report. “I appeal to the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court to order publication of the Najfi Commission report. Addressing a huge public gathering at the Nasir Bagh in Lahore, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that a dishonest and disqualified person asks as to what is his fault. He said that his question to this man is that what crime had the fourteen innocent people committed who were killed in cold-blood on June 17, 2014 in broad day-light. According to Core Committee of PAT, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will reach Lahore on August 8 and will be accorded a warm welcome on his arrival. The meeting of the Core Committee was held yesterday. Briefing the media after the meeting, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is arriving in the country by cancelling all his overseas commitments. read more...

A delegation of PAT led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur visited the General Hospital Lahore on july 26, 2017 and inquired after the health of the injured of the Lahore blast. Sajid Mahmood Bhatti, Irfan Yousaf, Raja Nadeem, Younis Noshahi, Qazi Mahmood and others were present on the occasion. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asks SC to order publication of Model Town Commission Report

Addressing a large protest demonstration organized by PAT on The Mall, Lahore on the afternoon of July 15, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that we appeal to the Supreme Court to order the publication of the Model Town Commission report in the same way as it did in case of the Panama JIT report. He said that shedding human blood is far more heinous crime than financial corruption.
