Addressing the central Core Committee, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has commented on the Panama verdict, saying that the matter has come to the same point from where it had start off. He said that the lawyers had come to the apex court to seek answers to the questions that the court repeated. He said that he had read “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un” a long time ago, now a formal burial of the Panama dead body has been carried out. An emergency meeting of PAT Working Council was held here in which it demanded that the Model Town case should be transferred to the military court. It said that those sitting in powerful positions of the government are hampering the process of dispensation of justice. It further said that the rule and regulation under which the Uzair Baloch case was shifted to the military court, the same rule should be applied to transfer the Model Town case to the military court. read more...
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he and his workers were again being forced to seek justice through street power and those policemen who had been convicted were being released. He lamented that the nexus between the Punjab police and prosecution department was killing the justice. He said that if the neighbouring country is involved in fomenting terrorism in Pakistan, then who else is responsible to expose her than the government of Pakistan?
