Country not to be defamed with demands for justice: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Addressing a press conference in London, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the hands of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif are bloodied with the killings of innocent people in Model Town. He said that the Prime Minister is directly involved in the Model Town carnage, asking with what face will he plead the case of the Kashmiris at the UN? He said that if the country did not earn a bad name with the Panama leaks, how will the demand for justice in the Model Town case bring it into disrepute? The rally, which was attended by workers of PAT, religious and political parties and the members of civil society organizations, was organized as part of the Qisas movement. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding justice. They were holding banners and placards. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri issues list of 50 Indians along with their visa numbers

Addressing a heavily attended press conference here in Lahore today, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri issued the list of 50 Indians out of 300 working in the mills of the Sharif family who came on the visa of engineers, technicians, and welders. He also shared the details of passport numbers along with the list. He revealed that more than 300 letters from Ramzan Sugar Mill were sent to Pakistan High Commissioner in India and he was directed to ensure exemption from reporting with the police and checking. read more...

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Army Chief promised to provide justice in the Model Town case. He said that we are reminding him as to when he would fulfill his promise. He said that we are not begging the COAS for justice but only reminding him of his commitment. He said that elimination of terrorism is his responsibility. He said that we want Qisas under the law of the land, Constitution of Pakistan and the Islamic law and anything less than that is not acceptable.
