Addressing scores of protest rallies held across the country marking the seventh anniversary of Model Town tragedy, MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that it is perfectly understandable as to why justice was not provided during the incumbency of the previous government but asked as to why the doors of justice continue to remain shut in the PTI government. A special meeting of the PAT review committee on economy and finance was held here that was presided over by PAT Central Punjab President Basharat Jaspal. The Core Committee of Pakistan Awami Tehreek has decided to hold protests throughout the country on June 17 on the lack of justice in the Model Town case and stopping the impartial JIT from carrying out their investigation into the tragedy. This important decision was taken in a meeting presided over by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Convener of the Committee.
