Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Lahore took out a rally from Aiwan-e-Iqbal to the Lahore Press Club to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters. The participants of the rally were carrying the national flags, placards, banners and charts on which the slogans condemning India for its brutality and showing support and solidarity with Kashmiris were written. Kashmiris be given observer's status at the OIC: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the war is not a solution of any dispute but it appears that the age-old issue of Kashmir doesn't seem to be nearing resolution without war. He said that the peace of the region is conditional on the resolution of Kashmir issue. He further stated that the United Nations will have to fulfill it's promise it made with Kashmiris in the form of resolutions sanctioning their right to self determination.
