Resolutions adopted at PAT oath-taking ceremony

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur presented a number of resolutions on the occasion of the oath-taking ceremony which were unanimously approved. The resolution asked the government to stay away from unilaterally approving the law regarding change in religion. It said that certified copies of the draft bill should be circulated to all schools of thought to seek their opinion. Islamic Ideology Council should also be consulted in this regard. PAT announces new office-bearers after intra-party elections

Qazi Zahid Hussain from Sindh and Khurram Nawaz Gandapur from KP have been elected as president and secretary-general of the party respectively. PAT Intra Party Elections 2021

The schedule of PAT's intra-party elections has been released. Accordingly, the polling will take place on September 19, 2021. Issuing the schedule, Secretary Election Commission Ghulam Murtaza Alvi said that the nomination forms will be available for collection from the 30th of August onward. He said that September 4 is the last date for the submission of forms, whereas the objections and scrutiny of the papers will be finalized by September 7 and the final lists of candidates will be issued on Sept 8. read more...
