In his special message on 23rd of March being celebrated today across the country, PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that corruption and terrorism have defaced Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam. He said that the labourers, workers, farmers, clerks, peasants and downtrodden sections of society for whom Pakistan came into being have been compelled to resort to protests and suicides due to rampant poverty and starvation. Pakistan & India should follow principle of ‘live and let live’: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Monday called for ‘Live and Let Live’ policy to reduce apprehensions between India and Pakistan. Dr Qadri, who is on a visit to participate in a International Sufi conference in India, said there should be a transparent and open discussion between the two countries on issues like Kashmir, Pathankot attack, Mumbai attacks or involvement of India in terrorism in Balochistan and Sindh. read more...

Justice be provided in Model Town case: General (r ) Pervez Musharraf

A PAT delegation led by Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur called on former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf at his residence in Karachi the other day. The PAT leaders enquired after the health of the former President and discussed prevailing political situation in the country. Speaking on the occasion, the former President said that Model Town tragedy involves violation of human rights. A high-powered PAT delegation under the leadership of Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the Nine Zero, MQM’s headquarters on Feb 28, 2016, and held a meeting with the Rabita Committee members. Central MQM leader and former Federal Minister Dr Farooq Sattar received the delegation on arrival. The leadership of both parties discussed matters of mutual interest in the meeting. Right to Fair Trial under Article 10-A being violated with abandon: PAT

Addressing a hurriedly called press conference at the Lahore Press Club, central PAT leaders along with the team of lawyers engaged in fighting Model Town case have said that the Punjab Government is murdering justice by not holding fair trial under Article 10-A of the Constitution after formation of the highly questionable JIT. They said that there is no difference in the behaviour of the police, JIT and the anti-terrorism court. National Peace Conference under PAT calls for full implementation of NAP

Addressing the National Peace Conference held under the banner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at the central secretariat of the party, the political leaders have said that all provisions of National Action Plan should be implemented in letter and spirit for success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI, has said that the rulers are quite perturbed due to Operation Zarb-e-Azb launched by Pakistan military and peace initiative started by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. Keys of double-storey house handed over to father of Shaheed Muhammad Umar

On behalf of PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the keys of a double storey house were handed over to Mian Muhammad Siddique, the father of Muhammad Umar Siddique yesterday. It is pertinent to mention here that Muhammad Umar Siddique was martyred on June 17, 2014 in Model Town tragedy in Lahore. He is the fourth homeless martyr of a family who was the sole breadwinner for his parents. read more...
