Bisma Amjad, the daughter of Shaheed Tanzila Amjad who was among those martyred in the Model Town massacre, called on the Chief Justice of Pakistan in the Supreme Court Registry Lahore and prayed to him to take suo motu notice of the Model Town incident over the non-provision of justice despite the passage of four years. The Chief Justice expressed his concern on the delay in dispensation of justice and ordered the Advocate General Punjab to submit a detailed report in this regard. read more...

PAT Youth Wing Lahore took out a ‘Long Live Pakistan Motorbike rally’ to mark the Pakistan Day. The rally, attended by the youth in large number, started from Shahdrah and concluded at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan after passing through different areas. PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the Model Town massacre. He said that hundreds of Rao Anwaars continue to roam around in Punjab. He said that Nawaz Sharif should not imitate him but follow his intellect, stating that there is some kind of fear in him that makes him get afraid of the empty chairs.
