He said that linking corruption cases with pre-poll rigging is a notoriously conspiratorial narrative. PAT lawyers cross-examined SP Tariq Aziz, witness presented by the police in the FIR registered by police in the Model Town case. He said that he was present in Model Town on June 17, 2014 and was injured by a bullet but despite this, he continued to command the police party.
