PAT to hold protests across the country on June 17, 2022
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has decided to hold protests across the country at the district level on the 17th of June in remembrance of the martyrs of Model Town tragedy. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has written a letter to all district organizations in this regard in which the directions have been given to the local chapters to hold protests against injustice on the occasion of the completion of 8 years of the Model Town massacre. read more...

Concerned at return of the accused in Model Town case to power: PAT
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that dispensation of justice for the oppressed of Model Town tragedy and punishment to the killers is the responsibility of the judiciary. He said it is a matter of great concern that those involved in the tragedy have come to power. He said if the masterminds, and handlers evade justice, the weaker segments of society will lose their trust in the system of justice. PAT's foundation-day ceremonies held across the country
The 33rd foundation day of Pakistan Awami Tehreek was celebrated across the country. The ceremonies were held in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan and other districts. The cake was cut and a special Dua was made for the safety, security and progress of the country. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the only legal demand for the impartial investigation into the Model Town tragedy has not been met in the last seven years and the oppressed continue to look for justice even today. Workers Convention held under PAT in Abbottabad
Addressing a workers convention in Abbottabad, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should stay away from the PMLN. He asked PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari not to provide it with politicaloxygen and space to return to power, stating that they are involved in Model Town killings. Sufficient evidence available to prove involvement of Capt. (r) Usman in Model Town case
After the hearing of private complaint in the Model Town case in the anti-terrorism court, Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry Advocate, who is legal spokesperson for PAT, spoke to the media and briefed it about the proceedings. He said that one principal accused Capt. (r ) Usman, who is Commissioner Lahore these days, had petitioned the court for acquittal in the case.
