Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) did not end its sit-in at Islamabad but rather it temporarily suspended it, a spokesman for Dr Tahirul Qadri said in a press release on Friday. The spokesman accused federal and Punjab governments for harassing the PAT leadership, including Dr Qadri by forcing police to register false FIR against Qadri and other leaders. PAKISTAN Awami Tehreek (PAT) President Dr Raheeq Abbasi welcomed the 21st constitutional amendment for establishing the military courts for speedy trial of terrorists and reminded that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was the first proponent of military courts in his 14-point agenda for eradication of extremism. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the terrorists massacred schoolchildren in Peshawar and innocent people were killed in Model Town through state terrorism.
