The third annual Daura of Hadith by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will be taking place again this year at the Ghamkol Shareef Mosque in Birmingham. This year it is titled Daura Sahih Bukhari and Muslim. In the three day event (23rd - 25th August, 2008), Shaykh-ul-Islam will be focussing on traditions relating to the subjects of Compilation of Hadith, al-Aqaid (Creed), Fiqh and Tasawwuf. A three member delegation of Red Cross (Geneva) visited the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 7th of August, 2008. Shaykh-ul-Islam said that only Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) stayed with the Holy Prophet (saw) in the Cave. Once people asked Huzrat Umer-e-Farooq (RA) about the status of Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA), he replied, "I (Umer) say that one night of Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) that he spent in cave is superior to whole of my life."
