MQI co-organises multi-faith peace march in Vienna, Austria

The Minhaj ul Quran International (MQI) is engaged in interfaith harmony, tolerance, co- existence & human welfare under the Patron ship of Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri all over the world. MQI organization Austria is struggling at International level to promote the cause of human rights, peace and brotherhood. The other day the Christian, Jews, Hindus, and the Muslims Communities Guntramasborf, Vienna launched the peace march to demonstrate love for peace & brotherhood under the banner of Guntramasborf Peace Platform. Daura Sahih Bukhari & Muslim 2008

The third annual Daura of Hadith by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will be taking place again this year at the Ghamkol Shareef Mosque in Birmingham. This year it is titled Daura Sahih Bukhari and Muslim. In the three day event (23rd - 25th August, 2008), Shaykh-ul-Islam will be focussing on traditions relating to the subjects of Compilation of Hadith, al-Aqaid (Creed), Fiqh and Tasawwuf. Alongside traditions from Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim he will also carry out a comparative study from the other Sihah Sitta- Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasai and Ibn Maja. read more...

Red Cross Delegation Visits Central Secretariat

A three member delegation of Red Cross (Geneva) visited the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International on 7th of August, 2008. Principal Secretary to Shaykh-ul-Islam and Director Foreign Affairs G.M.Malik received the guests. The delegation comprised Faite Alexandre, Miriam Zampatti and Mr. Salah-ud-Din. Shaykh-ul-Islam said that only Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) stayed with the Holy Prophet (saw) in the Cave. Once people asked Huzrat Umer-e-Farooq (RA) about the status of Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA), he replied, "I (Umer) say that one night of Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) that he spent in cave is superior to whole of my life." The Workers' Convention of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held in the Minhaj University Campus Township on July 5, 2008 where a beautifully-decorated venue was set up. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the event, whereas Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; president of the Supreme Council (MQI), and Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, member of the Supreme Council (MQI), were the guest of honour at the occasion.
