International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference 2009 under MQI

The 25th Annual Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) Conference was held at historic Minar-e-Pakistan on March 9, 2009 under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The main highlight of the programme was the keynote speech of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Shaykh as-Sayed Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Ali al-Noori al-Madani, the special Servant at the Shrine of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), presided over the Conference. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI Supreme Council, and Sahibzda Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri delivered speeches in Arabic and English languages respectively. read more...

The central birthday ceremony took place in the central secretariat of MQI, Lahore, on February 19, 2009. The ceremony that had two sessions started at 9 p.m. at night. Minhaj Welfare Foundation dispatches relief goods for Ghaza

Relief goods collected by Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) for the affectees of Ghaza were handed over to Palestinian embassy on February 12, 2009 for its onward dispatch to the Palestinian city. A 40-feet long container was dispatched to Jeddah from Karachi under the supervision of the Palestinian embassy. The remainder of relief goods has been left under the care of Palestinian Ambassador Jaser Ahmad Mahmood Muhammad. The relief goods include more than 2000 blankets, folding beds, clothes and medicine. read more...
