Shaykh-ul-Islam has said that the plant of consciousness of ‘Hussainiyat’ that grew from the plains of Karbla will continue to provide the entire humanity with a shadow of abiding justice, democracy, peace and integration till the Day of Judgment. He said that Hazrat Imam e Hussain (A.S.) raised a voice against dictatorship and authoritarianism in such a forceful manner that its reverberations continued to be heard even after the lapse of 15 centuries. He said that the consciousness the great Imam created would keep the head of humanity high as a metaphor of truth. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the leader of PAT, has said that there is an agreement among all five schools of thought i.e. Hanafi, Maliki, Shafai, Humbali and Ja`fri that launching an armed struggle against an Islamic state is un-Islamic act. He said that according to all schools of thought, such a thought falls in the category of rebellion and crushing the rebels is in keeping with the Islamic law. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Allama Tahirul Qadri has said the green revolution in Pakistan can be brought about only through peace, discipline, unity and sacrifice. He was addressing Mustafavi Workers Convention held here Wednesday. Around 15, 000 workers participated in the convention. Tahirul Qadri in his address, through a video link, said his party was steadily moving towards the decisive moment. “When that day will come, every looter and plunderer will escape from the country,” Qadri added. “Pakistan is being governed like a king governs his kingdom in the name of democracy.” He said people had been left at the mercy of dacoits and looters. read more...
Addressing the International Workers Convention, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that what passed off as democracy in the country is basically an ‘elite capture’ that has deprived people of their fundamental rights. He said that the incumbent system deserved to be named as political authoritarianism, monarchy and dynastic rule, which was aimed at plundering the national resources.
