PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided to include Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri books in the curriculum of universities across the province in order to laud his services. KPK government released direction to all universities for adding specific books in their libraries written by Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran’s chairman Tahir ul Qadri, local newspaper reported. According to the reports, special circular had been released to 19 universities of KPK by the government having directions for updation of libraries with the scholar’s books. read more...

Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that analysts, political commentators, columnists and political leaders are now appreciating his point of view that he expressed before the elections. He said that doing so is morally correct but it will do little to compensate for the huge loss suffered by the nation after the elections. He said that no government ever formulated policies for the benefit of the nation because the electoral system through which they came into power is the real enemy of the people. Chakwal: It is workers’ duty to work for change in the system through democratic and peaceful means and to call them for a struggle is the job of the leader. Until Shah Rukh Jatoi and Shahzeb do not become equal citizens with the same set of rights and opportunities in the eyes of justice system and state, the system would not be deemed to have been changed. Describing the NADRA’s report as a slap on the face of the Election Commission, Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has demanded that the votes polled in other constituencies during the last general elections should be got verified by NADRA.
