Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that analysts, political commentators, columnists and political leaders are now appreciating his point of view that he expressed before the elections. He said that doing so is morally correct but it will do little to compensate for the huge loss suffered by the nation after the elections. He said that no government ever formulated policies for the benefit of the nation because the electoral system through which they came into power is the real enemy of the people. Chakwal: It is workers’ duty to work for change in the system through democratic and peaceful means and to call them for a struggle is the job of the leader. Until Shah Rukh Jatoi and Shahzeb do not become equal citizens with the same set of rights and opportunities in the eyes of justice system and state, the system would not be deemed to have been changed. Describing the NADRA’s report as a slap on the face of the Election Commission, Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has demanded that the votes polled in other constituencies during the last general elections should be got verified by NADRA. He said that it is in this way that the reality of Elections 2013 would be exposed to all and sundry.
