Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahir ul Qadri said Pakistan was being run like a private business with rampant corruption eating into the country. There are signs that the rulers are behind terrorism in Sindh and the federal government is in sync with Sindh, he said while talking to media at Lahore airport. “Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are putting corruption under wraps,” he said adding the collusion between the ruling parties in Sindh and center is bringing about the economic devastation in the country. read more...

PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the decision to link imposition of new taxes of Rs. 40 billion to the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and rehabilitation of the IDPs is a conspiracy to bring the operation against terrorism into disrepute and prove it as a burden. He asked whether the rulers informed the nation about the reasons of imposing various other taxes in the past.
