Addressing a heavily crowded press conference, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Sharif family is the owner of hundreds of offshore companies. He said that in order to make them cough out money and speak the truth, they should be deposed and put behind the bars. He said that the facts revealed so far by the Panama leaks are sufficient to punish them. PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Panama leaks are not a conspiracy against anyone. He said that Allah Almighty has unmasked the faces of the looters. He asked the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of the leakage and initiate the impeachment process forcibly. He said that the Supreme Court has already disqualified one PM in a contempt of court case, adding that the people of Pakistan should take a cue from their counterparts in Iceland and take to streets against the biggest scam of history. read more...

PAT takes out protest in front of Punjab Assembly in wake of Panama Papers

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) held a demonstration in front of the Punjab Assembly building to register its protest in the aftermath of the Panama scandal. The participants of the demonstration demanded of the Prime Minister to tender his resignation and establishment of the judicial commission under the Chief Justice of Pakistan. In his special message on 23rd of March being celebrated today across the country, PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that corruption and terrorism have defaced Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam. He said that the labourers, workers, farmers, clerks, peasants and downtrodden sections of society for whom Pakistan came into being have been compelled to resort to protests and suicides due to rampant poverty and starvation.
