Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri visits Data Darbar

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr. Tahirul Qadri on Thursday paid a visit to Data Darbar, the shrine of sufi saint Abul Hassan Ali Hajvery, hours after his flight landed in Lahore from London, Samaa reported. The PAT chief’s convoy took nearly five hours to reach Data Darbar from the airport where he was warmly welcomed by hundreds of his followers. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairperson Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore on Thursday morning. Qadri had left Pakistan on October 28 to visit USA, Canada and UK to meet several Pakistani expats and leaders. LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri along with his party leaders has left for Data Darbar today (Thursday). The rally will visit Data Darbar via Ring Road, Harbanspura, Dharampura and Mall Road, Dunya News reported. PAT chief has landed at the Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore on early Thursday morning whereas large number of PAT supports welcomed their leader at the airport. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived in Lahore on Thursday morning. The firebrand cleric left the airport amid strict security measures and set off to visit Data Darbar en route to his party secretariat in Model Town. Three deputy superintendent of police (DSPs), including SP Cantt, were posted along with 200 other policemen for Qadri's security. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers welcomed their party President Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri as he arrived in Lahore on Thursday morning, ARY News reported. While talking exclusively to ARY New, Qadri categorically rejected the Judicial Investigation Team (JIT) formed by government to probe Model Town Incident, the tragic event that killed fourteen people and injured many others on June 17.
