PAT takes to the road against terrorism

LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Sunday held rallies in 60 towns across the country against the Peshawar tragedy. In Lahore, participants of the rally marched from Regal Chowk to Charing Cross on The Mall and shouted slogans against terrorists. The rally was addressed by PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri through a video link from the US. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri urges for implementation of 14 point to end terrorism

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has asked those extending moral, political and intellectual support to the terrorists to decide which way their allegiance lies. He asked them to either support terrorists openly or join 180 million people by declaring their decision against terrorism. He said that double-speak and double standards wouldn’t work anymore. PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that everyone knows who fired bullets at innocent civilians and who is a killer. He said that we would not let justice be murdered, adding that Dr Tauqir Shah, who got orders of killing from the Chief Minister, is being appointed ambassador to make him stay mum. He said that the JIT composed of killers is not acceptable at any cost. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri on Saturday called for anti-terrorism courts to be abolished. LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek will hold protest rallies in 60 cities on Sunday against terrorism and to express solidarity with the families of Peshawar school victims. PAT President Dr Raheeq Abbasi announced this while chairing a meeting at the party head office on Friday. He said 40 committees to oversee the management of the protest rallies had been formed.
