PAT proposes 14 points for Next Punjab Budget

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has sent 14 recommendations for Budget 2019-20 to Chief Minister Punjab and Finance Department. Workers demanding justice made prisoners: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the oppressive system has made the workers who protested against the killing of 14 innocent citizens in Model Town the prisoners. He said that he is grieved on the sentences given to 107 PAT workers on the charge of vandalism. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri addresses PAT’s Federal Council meeting

Addressing the meeting of the PAT Federal Council, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the biggest hurdle in the way of justice in the Model Town case is that the killers are very powerful and wealthy. He said that after a hectic struggle over the last five years, the case continues to stand where it was on the day of its perpetration i.e. June 17, 2014. The meeting of the PAT Shura has been scheduled on the 5th April. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will preside over the meeting. Addressing a consultative meeting at the central secretariat earlier today, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we never took law in our hands during our struggle for justice. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri reaches Lahore, talks to media

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it is the first impartial JIT formed in the wake of Model Town tragedy that questioned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, visited the crime scene and conducted the forensic tests of the bullets and arms used during the police brutality. He said that the last two JIT did not even record the statement of the injured. PAT Condemns LOC violation by Indian Air Force

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has strongly condemned cross border violation by Indian Air Force planes and called on Government to raise this issue at diplomatic level. In his statement, Secretary General Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said violations of borders by Indian Air force is an act of aggression, which is condemnable.
