PAT’s countrywide rallies held in support of Pakistan Army

Attended by thousands of people, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) took out countrywide rallies to express their unstinted support for Zarb-e-Azb operation being conducted by the Pakistan military in restive North Waziristan to purge the area of terrorists of all hues and colour. The central rally in Lahore started from Dharmpura and concluded at the Lahore Press Club. The participants of the rally were carrying placards and banners with pro-army and pro-operation slogans inscribed on them. They also chanted slogans in support of the Pakistan armed forces on this occasion. The rally was led by PAT central President Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi and PAT Lahore leaders. read more...

Dr Qadri said that the Constitution of Pakistan said that it was the fundamental responsibility of the state to provide such a person job, education, health, justice and shelter that did not possess resources. LAHORE: The initial report of the joint investigation team (JIT) constituted to investigate the Model Town tragedy revealed that Superintendent of Police (SP) Sulaiman had ordered elite force personnel to open fire on protesters, DawnNews reported. Qadri's clarification: PAT revolution is not a PTI tsunami, will not be suspended

LAHORE: Differentiating between his stance and a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) tsunami, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said on Thursday that the purpose of his revolution was to bring about a total change in the system of the country according to the first 40 articles of the Constitution. Denying any knowledge of a possible suspension of PTI’s tsunami, Qadri added that his revolution will not be suspended at any cost.
