LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Saturday said the present government was incapable of framing the country’s foreign policy, citing as proof a recent statement of the prime minister’s top aide Sartaj Aziz. In an interview with BBC Urdu, Aziz appeared to stray from the official stated policy of indiscriminate targeting of militants. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the facts of the Model Town Incident were changed via planning, ARY News reports. Tahir-ul-Qadri, speaking to media here in Lahore before leaving for Bhakkar, alleged that the “rehearsal” of the Joint Investigation Team, for changing the facts of the incident, took place at Patiala House. He claimed that several retired judges and so-called government advisors were in the rehearsal sessions. “JIT’s report of the incident is complete and only it has to be signed. LAHORE: Rejecting a five-member joint investigation team (JIT) constituted to probe the death of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers in Model Town, PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri alleged the report that has already been prepared by the government and will be publicised later this month, Express News reported on Saturday. Dr Qadri wants two-thirds majority to change system

BHAKKAR: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Sunday claimed that the investigation report into the Model Town killings had held the government responsible but the review committee gave it a clean chit. Addressing a rally at the Jamil Stadium here, Qadri said he would unite the Sunni and Shia sects and change the system if the people gave him a two-thirds majority.He introduced Nazar Abbas as his candidate for the Nov 29 by-polls in PP-48, Darya Khan. Monday, November 24, 2014 - Bhakkar—Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri addressing a gathering in Bhakkar district on Sunday asked his supporters to “destroy the system if elected rulers fail to deliver”. Qadri appealed to the crowd to vote for PAT candidate Nazar Abbas for the Nov 29 by-polls in the district. He added that the by-polls were in fact a preparing ground for a “bigger battle” yet to come. “We are protesting against the corrupt and oppressive government,” Qadri said. Addressing a public meeting, he said his party was protesting against the “corrupt and oppressive” government, adding that if voted to power the PAT would change the entire system, build houses for the homeless on the land of feudal lords and create sectarian harmony by uniting Sunni and Shia people.
