Giving a deadline of December 31, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has asked Punjab Chief Minister, Rana Sanaullah and the officers responsible for Model Town tragedy to surrender themselves to law or be ready to face the consequences. A five-point resolution, moved by senior lawyer Rai Bashir Ahmad, was unanimously adopted in All-Pakistan Lawyers Convention. Today’s Lawyers Convention demands that after Najafi Commission report has held Shehbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah directly responsible for Model Town massacre, they should step down immediately and surrender themselves to law.
