Flood of people came to listen to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in Karjan city of state of Indian Gujrat. When Shaykh-ul-Islam reached the main stage despite grave threats to his life, hundreds of thousands people gave him a standing ovation and welcomed him amid chants and slogans. He said that it was the outcome of the present flawed system that the institutions had been pitted against one another. Hundreds of people participated in a rally held under the banner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore today. The rally was organized to protest against the government’s practice of hiking gas and power prices as well as worst energy shortages in the country.
