Tehreek-i-Minhaj ul Quran leader Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that if CNICs of the participants of long march would be checked then they would shut off uniforms and check the tattoos engraved on the bodies of terrorists. He added that he does not want a single day delay in general elections. Govt will be responsible of his under house arrest

The Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Dr Tahir ul Qadri has said that federal and Punjab government would be responsible if he was placed under house arrest. He said this while speaking to news persons along with Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen leader Ameen Shaheedi in Lahore on Tuesday. Shaheedi, on the occasion, said that state was not being run according to the Constitution. He said that MWM and Dr Tahir's slogans were same. Pakistan Awami Tehreek has announced schedule for Dr Tahir ul Qadri's January 14 long march. According to PAT spokesman Abdul Hafeez Chaudhary, a convoy comprising of Tehreek Minhaj ul Quran and Muttahida Qaumi Movment would leave for Islamabad from Dr Tahir ul Qadri's Lahore residence on January 13 at nine in the morning. read more...

LAHORE: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, who called on Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri at his secretariat on Monday night, reportedly failed to convince him to give up his proposed march and sit-in at Islamabad on January14. “The march will be held at all costs, and if anyone tried to sabotage it, then I cannot guarantee that it will remain peaceful. “In such a case, those interfering in our peaceful march will be responsible for any untoward outcome,” warned Qadri while talking to reporters along with Rehman Malik after the meeting. read more...
