A multi-religious forum held a meeting aiming at social integration through inter-faith harmony and inter-religions dialogue. The meeting was supervised by the representatives of local government. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has said that those weaving a web of conspiracies against green revolution will be swept away in people’s Tsunami. He said that every line drawn by the ruling elite in the name of changing people’s destiny would end up deepening divisions, adding that the nation should make a firm resolve to get rid of the looters who had been plundering them every now and then. Pakistan Awami Tehreek Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that if a sincere, dedicated and hard-working leader like the Quaid-e-Azam is there, even carving out a state on the map of the world becomes very much possible. He said that if the leadership crisis persists, the very survival of the country remains the top issue even after 66 years. The Multan chapter of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) took out a rally to spread awareness among the student community. Central President of MSM Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf led the rally, which kicked off from ‘Fawara Chowk’ and culminated at ‘New City’. PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the government of Pakistan and the armed forces should not become a party on the issue of Syria at any cost. He asked the government to refrain from selling the country’s sovereignty for dollars, adding that the people would react very strongly if the government did so. He said that money was not that important. He further said that Pakistan should not fall prey to wishes of some countries.
