Thanks to live coverage of the programme, these people joined in to listen to the speech of Shaykh-ul-Islam with rapt attention. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke on the topic of “Morality of Mustafa (S.A.W)”.
Addressing the hundreds of thousands of participants of International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference, the greatest conference in the Muslim world, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Muslim Umma got the blessings of Islam and Divine Gnosis through Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) and the entire Quran is a portrayal of the Prophet’s morality from start to the end. The magnum opus on the Seera of the Prophet is the Holy Quran. He said that ethics of the human self of the Holy Prophet were replaced with the Divine Morality in the form of the Verses of the Holy Book. That is how the morality of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) transformed into the Divine Attributes. He said that Islam is a religion of mercy; Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) the Prophet of mercy and Holy Quran the book of mercy.
Implanting the Prophet (S.A.W)’s message of love, peace and security in every heart is the need of the hour. He said Islam is a religion of peace, love and security. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that love was the end product of faith and we have to let the love for the Holy Prophet permeate our lives in such a manner as eliminates all other kinds of worldly love. He said that we would have to establish external and internal peace. Internal peace means that the world of heart is watered with the love of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and internal world is enlightened by piety, cleanliness, firm faith in the Oneness of Allah and the Prophetic love by doing away with cardinal desires. When every person belonging to the Muslim Umma would become the embodiment of peace, security and harmony in society, it would pave way for the establishment of peace in external world. If the Muslim Umma wants to eradicate every shortcoming in its collective life, it should don the yoke of slavery of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W).
The conference was attended by hundreds of thousands of people including women in a large number. The venue was decorated very beautifully. There was great firework on display during the Conference and pigeons and balloons were also released in the air.
Speaking in the Arabic language, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the mankind cannot celebrate the Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) in a manner that it is entitled to. Allah Almighty celebrates the Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) Himself. Therefore, we should also celebrate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) with utmost zeal and zest over and above all other joys and pleasures. He said that it was on the same Monday and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal that such events as the Prophet’s (S.A.W) birth, death, start of revelation in the Hira Cave and arrival in Madina took place. This coincidence of date, day and month was not merely accidental.
Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that accomplishments of more than 1 lakh Messengers were accumulated in 314 Messengers of Allah and the sacred person of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is the repository of all the accomplishments of all Messengers. The existence of Universe also owes itself to the Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W). Therefore, the Muslim Umma should celebrate the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet in such a manner that the whole world echoes with it. He said that Minhaj-ul-Quran International was working for revival of the faith under the dynamic leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and only a revivalist Movement like MQI could accomplish this great scholarly task.
Nazim-e-Aala Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi presented the Durood & salutation numbering about seven billion to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), which was offered at the Gosh-a-Durood during last one year. He said MQI makes arrangements for celebrating the Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W) in the entire world and Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has dedicated his life to spreading the real teachings of Islam and the love of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) all over the world. Afzal Noshahi, and Minhaj Naat Council presented Naats in the honour of the Holy Prophet before the address of Shaykh-ul-Islam.
