PAT concerned at the deteriorating law and order situation in the country
PAT Secretary General, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, has expressed deep sorrow over the continuous martyrdom of soldiers and civilians in Balochistan. He mentioned that the grief over the police officers' martyrdom at the hands of dacoits in southern Punjab had not yet subsided when heart-wrenching news from Balochistan emerged. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the martyred soldiers and civilians, and paid tribute to their patriotism.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur stated that dacoits, criminals, and terrorists are wreaking havoc on the lives and property of citizens not only in Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but also in Punjab, while the existence of federal and provincial governments is almost negligible. He noted that the parliament does not seem to have any role in restoring law and order, to the extent that the government doesn't even have time to hold a debate on law and order in the parliament.
Pakistan is going through the most delicate phase in its history. To tackle the crises and challenges, the end of political instability is essential. To establish public order, the politics of revenge, slander, and blame must be buried. At this moment, the public and the rulers are standing on two different paths, PAT Secretary General added.
He further remarked that enemies no longer conquer countries; instead, they cut off their economic, social, and cultural roots, crippling the very existence of nations. Something similar is happening with Pakistan. Only through unity and solidarity can internal and external conspiracies be thwarted.
