Where will masses go when the PM is helpless? Khurram Nawaz Gandapur
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that the current system guarantees horse-trading and the politics of deal-making. He said that seeking justice from those who are involved in rigging and close to their eyes to all malpractices is akin to trying to heal the wounds with the sword. He said the Election Commission played the same role in 2021 as it has been playing for the last forty years. He said if the Prime Minister of the country is helpless in this system, then where should the people go?
PAT Secretary General said that neither did the system change in the last two and half years nor did the oppressed of Model Town tragedy get justice. He said that the attempt to change the system with the help of the winning horses was a deception, about which Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri had warned in crystal clear words. He said that families of the martyrs and injured are looking for justice even today.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur made these remarks while talking to central Secretary Information Noorullah Siddiqui, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, and Arif Chaudhry in his office.
PAT Secretary General said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri had stated that the winning horses become part of every incoming government and that the desire to change the system with the help of these political turncoats is a deception. He said the looter who goes to jail comes out with a victory sign and addresses the people on the roof of a bright flashing car. He said that it has eliminated the difference between the permissible and the forbidden. He said neither were reforms introduced nor horse-trading was done away with.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the stolen money has not been recovered, nor has the system of education and health been improved. The state-owned enterprises continue to suffer losses like before. The police remain as politicized as before while the masses remain at the mercy of the criminal elements. Dearness and inflation have only been escalating, while the hoarding has gone on unchecked. The culture of bribery is as robust as before and the mafias are having a field day.
PAT Secretary General said that Imran Khan raised the slogan of change but did not base it on the collective power of the people. He said that PAT will soon announce the course of action, adding that our politics is pivoted around economic strength and the resolution of the people.
