World needs to wake up to horrors of terrorism: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the incident of terrorism in New Zealand. He said that we are horrified by the scale of tragedy wherein innocent people were massacred in two Mosques in Christchurch. He said that he cannot find words to express the sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives.
In a statement here today, Dr Qadri said that New Zealand is a peaceful country with higher human values. He expressed his solidarity with the government, affected families and the people of New Zealand in this hour of immense sorrow. He said that this tragedy proves that terrorists do not belong to any country nor a religion. They are waging a war on the entire humanity. He said that time has come for the world to get united and take solid actions to uproot the scourge of terrorism and extremism. He said that terrorist thinking is not against any particular country or community but against humanity. He asked the world community to wake up to the immediacy of the challenge.
The act of terrorism that took place inside a mosque in #NewZealand is indeed deplorable and highly condemnable. #Terrorism has no religion and such incidents prove that they are at war with humanity. I condole with the government of New Zealand and its people.#MosqueAttack
