No PAT workers will vote for PML-N: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PTI candidates for national and provincial assembly seats visited the central secretariat of PAT and held a meeting with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and other leaders. The prevailing political situation in the country also came under discussion during the meeting. A delegation from Sial Sharif under the headship of Sahibzada Muhammad Qasim Sialvi also came to the central secretariat. The delegates who visited included Malik Karmat Ali Khokhar from NA-135, Malik Sarfraz Khokhar from PP-173 and Murad Rass from PP-159.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the PMLN is a party that showered bullets on the innocent people in Model Town, martyring 14 and injuring 100 of them. He said that they are the people who attacked the law regarding finality of prophethood. He said that handing over power to the same party will be treason with the country. He said that we would continue to chase the killers in the political field and courts of law.

The PAT Secretary General said that Nawaz Sharif belongs to the underworld and he can go to any level to protect his ill-gotten wealth and can become the stooge of any foreign power. He said that he is fooling the nation despite being found guilty in a money laundering and corruption case. He said that Nawaz Sharif and his children accepted ownership of the Avenfield apartments but failed to present any money trail and it is for this reason that they have been punished. He said that the statement that no corruption allegation was proven against the Sharif family is ridiculous.

During the meeting, Sahibzada Qasim Sialvi inquired after the health of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that no one can defend the Model Town tragedy in his sane mind. He said that it is a massacre that was conducted on that unfortunate day and those involved in this heinous crime should be punished.

Murad Raas said that Model Town is his constituency and he always raised the issue of Model Town tragedy on the floor of the Punjab assembly. He said that this tragedy is over and above party divide. Malik Karamat Khokhar and Sarfraz Khokhar also strongly criticized Model Town tragedy and offered fateha for the departed souls.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the PAT is not taking part in the elections as a party but its local chapters are free to take decisions regarding their choices of voting. He said that our viewpoint is that no candidate of PMLN should be voted, adding that other political parties may have political differences with N League but we have enmity because they killed our workers in broad daylight.

Basharat Jaspal, Noorullah Siddiqi, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Ch Afzal Gujjar, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Rashid Ch, Mian Iftikhar and others were also present on the occasion.
