Strongly condemn anti-judiciary, anti-army & anti-Pakistan statements of Nawaz Sharif: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that disqualified Nawaz Sharif is making hue and cry to avoid punishment. He said that the ousted premier thinks that his vilification campaign against the army will bring him international support. It is his fallacy. The ultimate destination waiting for him is jail and a life of humiliation. He said that the apex court put a seal of approval on his being a certified liar, stating that none of the accusations made by him hold any importance. He said that it was on the government’s refusal to register FIR of Model Town massacre that the PAT staged a sit-in. He said that the Sharifs are not only masterminds of the tragedy but also the killers of innocent people. After their falsehood has been proven in the court of law, they know that they are going to face a trial in the Model Town case.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks while talking to the PAT lawyers via telephone yesterday. He said that Asghar Khan case is sufficient to prove as to who was stooge of who, adding that adding that those who took money from agencies to win elections have no right or moral justification to talk against others. He said that implementation on the verdict in the Asghar Khan case in letter and spirit is a must to end the role of intelligence agencies. He said that three-time prime minister raised palaces with the money he laundered from Pakistan. He repeatedly resorted to peddling lies before the nation, parliament and Supreme Court with regard to the money trail. He said that when all of his lies were caught and he started seeing jail as his destination, he has started taking a shelter in the garb of revelations.
The PAT Chairman asked as to why the then PM did not take any action against he who gave him the message of either resigning or going on an extended leave? He said that creating suspicions around the country’s national security institutions through allegations reflects moral bankruptcy, enmity with the country and deep-rooted bias.
Talking about the sit-in of August 2014, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Nawaz Sharif planned the Model Town tragedy in Islamabad and tasked his younger brother to oversee the implementation of the sordid plan here in Lahore. He said that when the PAT went to get the FIR of the massacre registered, our request was refused blatantly. He said that the government refused to set up JIT with the consent of the heirs of the martyrs and laid a siege to Model Town for ten days. He said that we took to streets to protest the brutality of the Sharif government. He said that it was the result of our agitation that FIR was finally allowed to be registered. Otherwise the fact remains the Sharif government even disobeyed the order of the local court for registration of the FIR. He said that he strongly condemned the anti-army, anti-judiciary and anti-Pakistan statements of Nawaz Sharif.
