Doors of dialogue open for all parties except PML-N: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the only institution that stays intact in Pakistan is that of corruption. He said that the evil of corruption continues to stay alive and kicking. He said that dark night in the name of democracy will soon set in. He said that the rulers have stronger relationship in the neighborhood. He said that it is a point to ponder as to how come situation at the Line of Control normalized without any political process and engagement between both countries. Was this war against Pakistan or to save one the rule of one person? He said that the PML-N is not a political party, adding that these people came into power for the sake of business.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing a meeting of the presidents and secretary generals of PAT Sindh and KP chapters here at the central secretariat.
Dr Qadri said that the doors of political dialogue are open for every political party except PML-N. He said that there may be thousand differences with the PPP but the Model Town tragedy did not happen during its days in power. He said that the PML-N is not just a political foe. He said that this party is the killer of our workers. Any talk with the will be possible after the Qisas.
The PAT Chairman said that given the present levels of corruption in the country, Pakistan is going to become corruption kingdom and dark night of slavery in the name of democracy stares the people in the face. He said that the institutions have become ineffective. He said that the Prime Minister had declared while giving a policy statement on the Panama gate in the National Assembly that he had all the proofs of transactions of money but later on his statement was said to be political. He asked is there anyone to ask him on it.
Talking about the Model Town tragedy, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that there is no question of compromise on the demand for justice. He said that struggle to seek justice will continue unabated till the last breath of life. He said that we appealed in the Lahore High Court to make the Model Town commission report the part of the proceedings of the private complaint but our appeal was rejected. He said that when all institutions including Parliament do not and the Constitution is now allowed to work its way, one is left with no option but to take streets.
The PAT Chairman said that the strategy of protest can only be effective when the whole opposition gets together on the shared agenda but in the instant case, the opposition parties of Pakistan present the picture of a house divided. He warned that if the people did not protest for their rights, no institution will be able to hold the corrupt accountable. He said that no General established his party, adding that the workers are the source of his strength. He said that he telephoned any General in his whole life. He said that the present, past and future of the ruling party owes itself to the Generals.
