PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the martyrdom of Major Ali Jawad who rendered the ultimate sacrifice by defending the motherland at the Pak-Afghan border. In his message of condolence, he sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the martyr’s soul in eternal peace.
While commenting on the recent spate of strained relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Dr Qadri said that the security system at the border is vital for peace and stability of both countries. He said that they should engage each other in dialogue to resolve the contentious issues. He further stated that both countries should keep an eye on outsiders who let no opportunity go waste to drive wedge in the relations.
