Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is real opposition leader: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Ganapur has said that the moment Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri announces to return back home, the rulers become nervous. He said that Dr Qadri is the real opposition leader against the current corrupt system who presents the real picture before the nation at every stage whether they are rigged elections or the games on the Panama leaks.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed these views while addressing the administrative committee meeting for June 17 sit-in. He said that so many people would gather at The Mall that no such spectacle would have been watched before. He said that we are peaceful people and would talk peacefully. He said that the rulers have started using traditional tactics of stopping our protest. He said that an effort was previously made to take shelter behind stay order and now DCO is being asked to issue such letters, which were never issued in the past on the occasion of protest by other parties.

The PAT Secretary General said that PML-N government is biased towards PAT and has different behavior with it and other political parties.

The meeting also condemned increase in duration of load-shedding and massive price hike. It said that high-sounding slogans were made at the start of the holy month and the Chief Minister claimed to present Ramzan package of billions but people are having to buy eatables at higher prices thereby nullifying the claims of the government high-ups.
