Iran eager to strengthen ties with Pakistan: Iranian Ambassador
Deputy Chief Organizer of PAT Shahzad Hussain Naqvi called on newly appointed Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Agha Mehndi Hunar Dost. He felicitated the Ambassador on his appointment in Pakistan. Welcoming him, he expressed the best wishes of PAT Chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He presented him a set of books including renowned Fatwa against terrorism and suicide bombing authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Speaking on the occasion, the Iranian Ambassador paid rich tributes to religious services of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that Iran wants to see the whole Islamic world united, adding that secret of Umma’s success and glory lies in closing our ranks and getting united. He said that Pakistan is an important neighbouring country, adding that both Iran and Pakistan have fraternal ties. He vowed to strengthen the bilateral relations between Tehran and Islamabad through economic and trade partnerships.
