People of Iran greatly value intellectual contributions of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri: Iranian diplomat

Shahzad Hussain Naqvi, deputy organizer of PAT, called on Shahab-ud-Din Durrani, cultural consular of the Islamic Republic of Iran the other day and exchanged matters of mutual interest.

Seaking in the meeting, Mr. Durrani said that the contributions and services of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for revival of Islam are unforgettable. He said that it is desire of the Muslim community around the world that they regain their lost glory and are rehabilitated to the position of respect which they once held in the past. He said that solution to the problems facing the Muslim Ummah lies in unity in their ranks.

Shahab-ud-Din Durrani said that the phenomenal progress achieved by the West owes itself to the knowledge created by the Islamic scholars and thinkers in the East. He said that making the young generation familiar with the Islamic teachings is dire need of the hour. He said that MQI is playing important role in making the youth acquainted with the contemporary sciences and Islamic teachings, which is a rare blend. He said that the people of Iran greatly value the intellectual contributions of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that those desirous of revivalism of Islam should strengthen their cultural and educational bonds.

Shahzad Hussain Naqvi thanked the Iranian Cultural Consular for expressing his appreciation of the work of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He also apprised him about Fatwa on terrorism and suicide bombing and Islamic Curriculum authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
