Rana Sanaullah to be approver in Model Town case: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Rana Sanaullah is Uzair Baloch of the Sharif brothers who has been accused of getting dozens of citizens killed. He said that those from within the party are making such allegations. He said that the law minister of Punjab will become approver in the Model Town case.
The PAT Secretary General expressed these views while talking to various delegations that called on him after his return from the weeklong visit of the US. He said that we would go to any limit to seek justice for our martyred brothers and sisters killed in broad day-light. He said that we are facing the legal terrorism of the rulers in our struggle to get justice for the Model Town victims. He said that the proceedings of the Model Town case currently underway in the ant-terrorism court are biased, one-sided and ultra vires. He said that we have challenged these proceedings in the Lahore High Court where the panel of lawyers led by Rai Bashir will contest the case in the honourable LHC on February 2.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that legal terrorism is being committed by dividing the Model Town case into four parts. He appealed to human rights organizations and lawyers community to take notice of the murder of justice. He said that if we did not get justice, we would be forced to take to streets and roads across the country for justice.
Meanwhile PAT Secretary General Noorullah Saddiqi has severely criticized the government’s helplessness and insensitivity about opening of the schools. He said that indecisiveness of the rulers have created confusion and disturbance for the children and their parents. He said that lack of leadership was manifest when some organizations were willing to open the schools whereas the others were reluctant. He said that the Punjab government lied at the time of closing schools, which was exposed by Interior Minister in his press talk. He said that the whole Punjab government remains confused and the millions of children are bearing the brunt.
