NGOs, Civil Society Organizations urged to study Dr Qadri’s Fatwa against terrorism
PAT Punjab President Basharat Aziz Jaspal has said that Fatwa against terrorism and suicide bombing authored by Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has highlighted the Islamic face of peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood and interfaith dialogue. He asked the people of civil society to study the Fatwa issued by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, adding that various PhD theses are being written in different universities of the world on works and personality of PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that it is a unique honor of Dr Tahir-ul- Qadri that PhD theses are being written on him during his life. He said that people belonging to various walks of life are benefitting from vast literature produced by him in the form of speeches and over 700 published works.
The PAT Punjab President expressed these views while talking to various delegations of NGOs and civil society organizations that called on him in his office the other day. Syed Amjad Ali Shah, G.M. Malik, Sajid Bhatti, Jawad Hamid and others were present in the meeting. Basharat Aziz Jaspal answered various questions of the delegates. He apprised them about the vast organizational network of MQI spread throughout the world, its services in the domain of peace, interfaith dialogue and welfare. He said that 1000 works written by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri are undergoing various phases of publication and he has delivered 6000 lectures on various subjects that are available in the form of CDs and DVDs, adding that his services and contributions extend to the whole world. He said that historic Fatwa against terrorism authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a valued treasure of the humanity. He said that he has done a great favour on the Muslim world which will continue to be remembered for long time to come.
Basharat Aziz Jaspal said that the Fatwa has played a key role in highlighting the true face of Islam in the world by drawing a line between Jihad and mischief. He said that the Fatwa won huge applause the world over, adding that it is need of the hour that Fatwa is read by each and every citizen of the country. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has unmasked the faces of terrorists.
