Crises being manufactured for financial gains: Basharat Jaspal
PAT Punjab President Basharat Aziz Jaspal has said that the incompetent ministers cannot deceive the nation by holding media responsible for their anti-people policies. He said that Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada showed their ill will by blaming their own failures on media. He said that media only reported and showed what the government did or did not do. He said that by making media scapegoat, the ministers have reflected their moral bankruptcy.
Basharat Jaspal expressed these views while talking to a delegation of PAT Faisalabad in his office in Model Town the other day. Fayyaz Warriach, Hanif Mustafavi, Rafique Najam, Rana Tahir, Malik Sarfraz, Mian Kashif, and others were present on the occasion.
The PAT Punjab President said that PML-N is the only failed government of Pakistan’s history which has become target of people’s ire and hatred in a span of one and half years by making false promises with them. He said that there is a method to madness, adding that the rulers stage crises according to a well-knit plan in order to make most of it at personal level. He said that multiple crises such as that of potato, gas, electricity, LPG and now petrol were created with a view to looting and plundering the people.
Basharat Jaspal said that the moment people express their intent to take to the streets, the crisis is resolved. He said that the ruling party is staging a façade in the name of democracy. He said that the purpose of all these dramas is that heaps of money could be gathered in the foreign countries. He said that there are elements within the government that do not want the war against terrorism to succeed.
