PAT announces schedule of countrywide visits for reorganization of party
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has announced a schedule for countrywide visits and reorganization of the party. In the first phase, PAT President Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi will visit Faisalabad division at the head of a high-powered delegation from November 8 to 16. Rana Idrees and Mian Abdul Qadir will be part of the delegation.
The PAT leaders will visit the families of those martyred and injured in Model Town tragedy on June 17, police crackdown on August 10 and revolution sit-in on August 30-31 to express their solidarity with them. The PAT President will hold meetings with leaders of different political parties during his stay in the city. They will also hold elaborate discussions with office holders of PAT Faisalabad division including districts and tehsils. Public assistance cells will also be set up at district and Tehsil levels for the people against wrongs of the district bureaucracy including police.
Dr Abbasi will also launch membership campaign in Faisalabad division on the occasion and roll out a course of action regarding upcoming local bodies polls in accordance with the instructions of PAT chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The visiting PAT leaders will consult local workers and seek their input regarding future political strategy.
It is important to note that Dr Raheeq Abbasi will review the reorganization process during his countrywide tours and issue special instructions to complete reorganization of PAT at UC and unit level throughout the country.
