The Gullu mentality

Gullu Butt captured attention from all corners of the country by vandalising cars at the Minhajul Quran international secretariat. Gullu is not a name of a police tout rather of a mentality which, more or less, belongs to all our political (and religio-political) parties. None of them are exempt from this Gullu-mentality.

Our political culture doesn't get rid of this mentality precisely because our leaders don't want this to happen. It is time we dry-cleaned our political culture. In this regard, the media can play a pivotal role. Like in the case of Gullu Butt, they should expose the other Gullus as well.
