PAT Spokesman rubbishes Bilawal’s remarks
Reacting to remarks of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the Spokesman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek has said that the purpose of organizing the Long March was to establish real democracy in the country. He said that the entire leadership of the PPP whose Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari dubbed the historic Long March as ‘drama’ had fled from Islamabad. He said that the negative statements from Bilawal betrayed immense frustration of the PPP leadership. He said that the leaders of PPP who did not have the courage to speak against Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri used Bilawal as their mouthpiece.
The Spokesman clarified that it was political wisdom of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri that the hundreds of thousands of marchers dispersed peacefully. He dubbed Bilawal’s remarks as ‘childish’ and of no importance. He said that whatever Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said before the elections proved true cent per cent. He said that there was no bigger proof needed to establish fallacy of Bilawal’s remarks than the fact that he conveniently forgot that his mother, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, was the life member of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The political party of Bilawal, which held the country hostage for five years in the name of democracy, has been consigned to dustbin of history, the spokesman held.
