Revolution need of the masses, not wealthy people: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI’s Supreme Council, has said that human history bears witness to the fact that revolution has never been a need of the wealthy, land lords and industrialists. He said that whenever any Prophet raised a voice for revolution and sought to dismantle the status quo, the establishment and the moneyed classes of those times that were the real beneficiary of the system, vehemently opposed him and fiercely resisted such a movement.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while addressing thousands of the residents of Itikaf City yesterday in Lahore.
He said that MQI is a revolutionary organization and that is why the anti-revolution forces threw spanners in the works of MQI right from the first day since its establishment, adding that these efforts continue to date. He said that taking on the evil forces is the defining characteristic of revolutionary movements and their workers do not hesitate from rendering any sacrifice for promotion of positive and constructive values in society. He said that the relationship of revolutionary workers with their leader is that of an emotional nature, which keeps them ready to offer any sacrifice for the ideals of justice, equality, peace, rule of law, and harmony in the society.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Dr Tahir-l-Qadri’s struggle is in compliance with the Prophetic Sunna and his movement is destined to succeed against the system of oppression and suppression of human rights and dignity.
Addressing on the occasion, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, the distinguished economist and President of MQI’s Federal Council, said that Allah Almighty will hold all such people accountable who despite knowing His Command to raise a voice against evil and struggle to eliminate it will choose to abdicate the responsibility for fear of the oppressors. He said that according to the lesson taught by the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the Muslims are not weak at all and clashing against the oppressive forces is a sign of faith.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Yazid did not take allegiance at the hands of Huzrat Imam Hussain (RA), which means that the Yazidi thought would continue to resist those who follow Hussain (RA) in his footprints in every age. He said that MQI is fighting against oppression in the society at every level and time would soon come when the sun of revolution would rise on the land of Pakistan. He asked the workers to concentrate on membership drive of 10 million new workers.
