Punjab Bar delegation visits MQI Manchester
Minhaj-ul-Quran International Manchester welcomed Lahrasib Khan Gondal, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (Punjab, Pakistan) and also vice Chairman Punjab Bar Council, Mumtaz Mustafa (Member Punjab Bar Council) and Malik Ghulam Abbas (Member Punjab Bar Council) in Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre Manchester.
The Punjab Bar Council’s delegation members were warmly welcomed by President Minhaj-ul-Quran Manchester Ateeq Ullah Butt, Vice President M Zulfikar, Secretary Finance M Saeed and many other members of Minhaj-ul-Quran Manchester.The delegates briefly updated the hosts about the current circumstances of Pakistan. Lahrasib Gondal said that time had come for the public to raise their voice against the corrupt politicians. He said that in the present political system selection is not based on your ability but on how much bribery one would pay. The tickets for Parliamentary seats are sold for millions of rupees and in these circumstances, he stated, how we could expect honest people to come forward. Pakistan Awami Tehreek, he added, has sped up its campaign against the corrupt and out-dated system. It has initiated its campaign throughout Pakistan reaching out to the smallest villages. The message of love, peace, tolerance, and integration by Shaykh-ul-Islam is being spread to every nation and every generation in the East and West. The delegation was taken to different sites in and around Manchester during their visit to Manchester.The members of delegation thanked Minhaj-ul-Quran Manchester for organizing this extraordinarily warm welcome. They said that they would cherish the memory of these days.
