On June 17, 2010, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Finland) arranged a seminar on Islamic Concept of Peace and Human Rights in the campus of the University of Toronto. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the leading speaker on the occasion. MQI leaders from different parts of Europe namely Faiz Alam Qadri, Aqeel Qadir and Bilal Uppal were also in attendance of the seminar besides the office holders of MQI Finland and a large number of associates and workers. read more...

Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the only way to defeat terrorists and extremists is through collaboration. He also said that there is a manifest difference between Muslims and Khwarjis and that people who commit suicide bombing are out of the orbit of Islam. By the grace of Almighty Allah, on the 13th of June 2010, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (France) had the honour to organize an event on Father’s Day. Mrs Mumtaz Malik hosted the program. She began by detailing a hadith about the real meaning of Jihad. She said that a man came to see the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to ask for the authorization to go to Jihad. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) asked him if his parents were alive. If yes, he had better look after them, for it was equivalent to Jihad. read more...

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Greece) organized ‘Peace Conference’ on May 28, 2010 in MQI Centre Rendi. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI’s Supreme Council, was the guest of honour on the occasion. He had come to Greece during his tour of Europe. The Conference was attended by over 1200 delegates from different parts of Greece. On May 29, 2010, the Center of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Stavanger) Norway welcomed a delegation of the Minhaj Peace & Integration Council consisting of Director Ejaz Ahmed Warraich for two-day visit. Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (France) celebrated Mother’s Day, on 16th May 2010. Mrs. Mumtaz Malik, the General Secretary of Minhaj Women League hosted the programme. The program got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by sister Tayba. Hamd-e-Bari was presented by Sister Basma Qazi. Followed by a poem on mother read out by Mrs Tahira Sehar. Then Minhaj Naat Coucil comprising Samina, Nashia, Tasneem, Habiba, Madiha, Tayba, Samreen, Rabia and Sehrish presented a very beautiful Naat and qawali with daff and zhikr which added life to the activity. read more...
