A bridegroom who was on his way to the house of the bride to contract a marriage decided to become part of PAT demonstration in Lahore. Clad in the traditional marriage attire, he joined the hundreds of thousands of people along with the members of his marriage party. Dr. Tahir ul Qadri-led Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has been granted permission for a rally in Rawalpindi to be taken out on May 11, ARY news reported Friday. PAT will take out rallies in seven cities including Lahore against alleged rigging in May 11 general elections last year. PAT leader Qazi Faiz told ARY News that there were not any such conditions imposed on the rally. ABBOTABAD: The Tehreek Suba Hazara (TSH) announced on Friday that it would be joining Pakistan Awami Tehrik’s (PAT) rally on May 11 in Rawalpindi and party workers would take part in the protest from across Hazara. KARACHI: Former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Faisal Raza Abidi said on Friday that he is only supporting Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Tahir-ul-Qadri in a PTI-PAT joint protest on 11 May.
