Nation grieved over the deaths of 14 newborn babies: PAT

Senior Central Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Mian Rehan Maqbool, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic fire incident at the children’s ward of PIMS Hospital and the reported deaths of 14 newborn babies.

He said the tragedy had deeply saddened the entire nation and expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the bereaved families. He remarked that hospitals are meant to be symbols of health, safety, and protection, but it is deeply unfortunate that even hospitals are not safe from negligence and lack of attention.

Mian Rehan Maqbool stressed that a transparent and immediate investigation into the incident is essential to determine the actual cause of the fire and to ensure that those responsible for any negligence are held accountable.

He prayed that Almighty Allah grant patience and strength to the grieving parents of the innocent children and bless them with the best reward for their loss. Ameen.
