“Long Live Pakistan” Motorcycle Rally Organized by PAT Lahore

Hundreds of young riders from the Youth Wing participated in the rally carrying Pakistan’s national flags.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore organized a “Jeevay Pakistan Motorcycle Rally.” The rally commenced from Begum Kot Chowk, Shahdara. Participants traveled from Shahdara Chowk along various routes on GT Road before reaching Minar-e-Pakistan, where the rally concluded.

The rally was led by Engineer Malik Ahmad Akhwan Awan, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore; Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore; and Muhammad Saqib Bhatti, General Secretary of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore. Raja Zahid Mahmood, Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, also participated in the rally as a special guest.

Among those in attendance were Sardar Arif Ali, Haji Farrukh Khan Kakar, Senior Vice President Arif Chaudhry, Amjad Hussain Chaudhry, Dr. Rana Tariq Salharia, Malik Abid Qadri, Malik Faisal, Dr. Iqbal Noor, Humayun Butt, Professor Abdul Mannan, and Tariq Altaf, along with other leaders and workers.

Hundreds of young motorcycle riders from the Youth Wing of Pakistan Awami Tehreek participated in the rally, proudly carrying Pakistan’s national flags. The participants raised enthusiastic slogans of “Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan” and “Pakistan Zindabad,” expressing their love for the country and their commitment to national unity.

Addressing the rally, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, said that August 14 represents a glorious chapter in Pakistan’s national history, whose light grows brighter with every passing year. He said the day reminds the nation of the extraordinary sacrifices, tireless struggle and unwavering determination of its forefathers. “The freedom we enjoy, our green-and-white flag and our independent homeland are the fruits of the sacrifices made by our ancestors. We must value this blessing of freedom and play our part in strengthening and prospering Pakistan,” he said.

Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, said that Independence Day is not merely an occasion for celebration; it is also a day to renew the national pledge. “We must resolve to utilize our abilities to put Pakistan on the path of progress, peace, prosperity and stability,” he said. He emphasized that advancing in the fields of education, technology, research and the economy is essential for enhancing Pakistan’s standing in the world.

Engineer Malik Ahmad Akhwan Awan, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Lahore, said that the nation must pledge to channel its energies in a positive and constructive direction. He urged young people to pursue education, acquire modern skills and play their full role in the country’s development. He stressed that Pakistan’s progress and prosperity depend on becoming a united nation above sectarianism, prejudice, hatred and divisive politics.

He further said that Pakistan’s future is linked to talented, educated and patriotic young people. In accordance with the vision of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the nation must strive to build a Pakistan where the supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law, equality, peace, education, economic prosperity and respect for human dignity are promoted.

The leaders reaffirmed their commitment that Pakistan Awami Tehreek would continue its struggle for the country’s ideological and territorial integrity, national unity, democratic values and public welfare.
